Carey Velenchenko is National Board certified and is licensed by the State Medical Board to practice acupuncture and oriental medicine. She has been an acupuncturist for 18 years and has experience treating clients in a wide variety of settings including: private practice, total wellness, and adolescent and adult residential programming for the treatment of eating disorders.

Carey takes the time with each patient to listen and to address all of their questions and concerns. She focuses on each unique individual, not just their presenting complaint, to provide truly holistic care. Carey is passionate and committed to working with patients of all ages and in all stages of illness, recovery, and wellness.

More About Carey

Carey Velenchenko is National Board certified and is licensed by the State Medical Board to practice acupuncture and oriental medicine. She has been an acupuncturist for 18 years and has experience treating clients in a wide variety of settings including: private practice, total wellness, and adolescent and adult residential programming for the treatment of eating disorders.

Her experience has given her the necessary tools and wisdom to treat a wide variety of conditions and symptoms including but not limited to depression, anxiety, digestive issues, pain and injuries, menstrual irregularities, fertility, auto-immune disorders, headaches and migraines, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and menopausal discomfort.

Carey attended the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. She studied both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs and graduated in 2002 with a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine.

Carey takes the time with each patient to listen and to address all of their questions and concerns.
